      Married Martha Abbott 13 Dec 1850 in Kanawha Co. VA. After William's death in 1855, Martha married Alfred Martin Deatherage 9 Apr 1856. They moved to MO. Martha's sister, Amy Jane Abbott married Isaac Runols Bays, William's brother. Records indicate that William died of consumption in the Loop area of Fayette Co.
