  • Notes 
    • Solomon Stanborough moved with his parentsfrom New Jersey, to Frederick County, Virginia before 1788, then to Greene County, Tennessee. Around 1802, Solomon left 150 acres on waters of Little Sinking Creek, to follow the general movement of Quakers to go where no slaves were kept, Clinton County, Ohio.
      Solomon built the first jail in Clinton County, Ohio in 1810 for $600.
      Solomon and his family moved to Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio in 1812.
      Solomon was a farmer.
      Solomon's Will is dated 4/21/1832.
      Solomon is buried in the Center MH Graveyard, NW of Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio.
      Note: Virginia Military Tract 140 acres to Solomon 1/19/1805.
